DRATAC

The purpose of the Tennessee Duck River Development Agency Technical Advisory Committee (DRATAC) is to provide advice and guidance to the Tennessee Duck River Development Agency (DRA) concerning water projects and other activities it may pursue to fulfill its mission.  Membership consists of both regular as well as associate members.  Regular members are the mangers or their designated representatives of each of the Water Systems in the Duck River Region contributing to Trust Fund B for the support of regional water projects.  Associate members are managers of other water systems which either draw water from the watershed or return wastewater to it.

Activities of DRATAC include reviewing and recommending projects for DRA and Water Systems funding from the Trust Fund B, the Water Supply Trust Fund and the Water Supply Escrow Trust Fund.  DRATAC assists in the development of a five year work plan for water project development, selection and execution for DRA.  Other activities of DRATAC include assisting in the development of regional goals, guidelines and plans as the committee may determine to be appropriate for the development and protection of water resources in the Duck River Region.
